TFZ Series Boiler

Gas/Oil Fired & Electrically Heated Vacuum Hot Water Boilers. The TFZ series is a range of low hazard hot water boilers. These boilers operate below atmospheric pressure and have an internal heat exchanger to isolate the process water from the boiler water. The SZS range of hot water boilers are very low maintenance and are well suited to industrial and commercial applications.
High quality European manufactured Oilon burners offer superior control and efficiency to minimise fuel costs.

A large furnace with corrugations provides huge surface area for heat transfer, radial strength and longitudinal flexibility. Its large diameter provides ample space for quality combustion.

Multi-layer insulation provides superior heat retention and exterior surfaces below 50°C.

Large robust tube and plate heat exchangers are mounted in the steam space, providing the ability for high pressure operation on the secondary side of the heat exchanger.

Flame diffuser introduces flue gas turbulence to maximise heat transfer and maximise efficiency.

Inlet and outlet pipe work is located on the top of the unit for easy integration on the secondary side of the circuit.
Ten Key Reasons Why You Should Choose An TFZ Series Boiler

Our TFZ series boilers offer unique innovative design, minimising maintenance and maximising efficiency. These boilers produce steam in a vacuum. Due to the negative pressures, steam is generated below 100°C. A large heat exchanger in the top of the unit is heated by the steam vapour heating the secondary water or process water. The primary side of the unit is a closed loop, requiring no makeup water as the steam is continuously condensing as it gives up its energy. An advantage of this design is that the boilers are classed as low hazard. The heat exchanger however is able to cope with high pressures commonly encountered in process equipment or the heat experienced in multi-level buildings.

The TFZ range of boilers are designed and manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality management system to ensure a high build quality.

Our TFZ series Vacuum Hot Water boilers provide gross efficiencies of more than 89% to minimise your fuel consumption. A large combustion space with increased surface area provides superior energy transfer from the combustion gas into the boiler water. Fire tubes are fitted with flame diffusers to introduce flue gas turbulence to maximise heat transfer and efficiency. Flue gas condensers take efficiencies to a new level.

The superior insulation system on the TFZ series boilers comprises a multi-layer system. Thick high density insulation is attached to the boiler; this is then wrapped in a thick silver blanket to reflect heat back inward, the boiler is then wrapped in a thick fibre glass insulation. This insulation provides extensive heat retention and reduces radiant and conductive losses to atmosphere. This achieves optimal combustion efficiency and exterior boiler surface temperatures typically below 50°C.

As there are no external secondary heat exchangers the units are extremely compact, saving space in plant rooms making them a cost effective solution.

Hinging doors on the outer casing allow for easy access for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
Optimal boiler efficiency provides superior boiler performance, reducing the amount of fuel required to achieve the same boiler output. This reduces the impact on the environment and the overall ongoing operational costs associated with the boiler. Condenser options are available on some models to further enhance the performance of our package boilers, reducing fuel consumption, operating costs and CO2 emissions even more.

EPS use high quality European valves, burners and control equipment on the TFZ range. The quality of this equipment ensures superior control and ongoing reliability.

Our market leading package boiler control system is modelled around a PLC with large colour touchscreen interface. A Siemens LMV5x digital combustion manager provides accurate and repeatable burner control and maximum efficiency. Our Oilon burner range provides maximum combustion efficiency, operating at low excess air levels. In addition, we can offer variable speed combustion fan control and automated oxygen trim to further optimise electricity and fuel savings for the life of the boiler. The control system provides detailed boiler fault descriptions, trending and testing functions. A cellular modem provides the ability to contact responsible persons assigned to the boiler via cell phone or pager, with a description of the actual fault when required.

The quality of our installations is second to none. Commissioning is carried out to a high standard with an emphasis on precise control and superior efficiency. Boiler training is provided to ensure those responsible for the ongoing supervision of the boiler are trained to protect your investment and ensure it is operated safely and efficiently. EPS follow this up with market leading after sales technical and service support to our customers.
